Think Outside The BoxThis is my new creation (Mother Nature) that came from the little magazine piece which was what looks like maybe seaweed with a part of a fish fin. I took the seaweed and made it her hair, for the darker part of it- I used as the butterfly’s shadow. The fish fin in the original I made now a part of my birds tail. I’m very impressed with what I came up with, as soon as I saw that piece of magazine, I knew exactly what it was going to be. (click on the images to enlarge and see the full details. they got cut off when I had to put them like this.)
Dream House DrawingThis is my drawing of my dream home, I haven't really drawn a realistic house before, but I am proud of what I have drawn for the Dream House project. I didn’t get it finished in time, but it was mostly because I spent a lot of time adding details and trying to make sure they were accurate. It was quite a fun challenge!
Painting Our AlebrijesI finally finished my Alebrije project, I think it turned out pretty great! (It is a mix between a rabbit, rooster, and a frog.) I'm quite proud of what I have accomplished with this project. I decided to add some of my favorite colors and kind of make them pop. I added fake eyelashes on my Alebrije, because I feel like it added a little bit of flair to it too.
Painting ProjectThis is my painting that I decided to try (also my before rough sketch of it.) I think it turned out pretty good since I’m not that familiar with painting landscapes. I’m quite proud of myself for what I have done on my art. :)
Self Portrait of MyselfThis is my self portrait drawing of me. I had fun adding in my symbols which represent 1. butterflies for my grandma, 2. zodiac sign -Leo, 3. The symbol in the bottom left corner stands for me being a fan of Twilight.
Personal SymbolsI thought these symbols kind of described me. The leo symbol is quite obvious, the butterfly would represent my grandma that passed away, and the warrior markings to represent fierceness.

Portraits
Sketch work: 1. I started with the shape of the face, 2. started making the hair outlines, 3. then added the details of the ear and neck, 4. then started adding face features, 5. and then I added shading, which made it more realistic. And soon before I knew it, I was finished! I feel like this piece of artwork didn't take that long, and I found it quite fun! :)
Sketch Book
Step1. took two small pieces of cardboard, and glued them down on a piece of fabric. Then folded in the corners, then the sides as well. Next I added my watercolor background and glued it on the book, STEP2. made pages, by folding them in half while with given measurements made tiny holes, which will be needed later., STEP3. sewn all the pages in the book., STEP4. The final product, while showing what the main cover looks like. :)
I found this project very fun and easy to make, also the book you make can represent your personality which I find quite cool.

Masks
step1. sewn a line straight down the middle for a ear piece, STEP2. the main parts of the mask, obviously not sewn together just yet, STEP3. making a part to add in the ears strings, STEPS4and5. finally done with mask :)
The masks were very easy to make, and plus are very needed in the world right now.
